If I could leave 0 stars I Would. This has got to be the absolute worse DMV experience in my life. I came in just to update my address on my ID I pulled number I29 when I walked in 2 hours ago. They just called 05.... But yet they keep pulling random people from the lobby to take care of. Sad excuse for customer service.

Walked in, pulled a "number", and waited almost an hour without anyone being called. I then went to a staff member to ask about the wait and was told the license cameras were "down" throughout the state. One would think they could periodically advise the waiting people about this situation, or at least post a notice so the crowd wouldn't be waiting for nothing. When I went back to the waiting area and personally announced what I just learned, almost everyone got up and left. That's our government workers for you ... !!!
I went to this location to get my license renewed with REAL ID. I so dreaded going as always, but that changed. I got there about 10 minutes after opening and picked a number. My number was called in about 30 minutes or so. The employee was so friendly and helpful that I ended up having a good experience. In all, it took about 45 minutes. Some complain about the limited services, which I don't get because the site says OMW not DMV and the services are listed on the wall. Plus, I called ahead to be sure they handle what I needed. It was a little strange that the seats faced the wall, away from the staff that was to be assisting you. But, hey maybe some people glare at them or something. Overall, good experience, great staff.
After waiting over two hours was told I'd need a MVR because I didn't have a physical out of state license. After talking to the DMV in my former state, all the Kenner office would have to do is call my former state's DMV to get the report faxed over. So, now I get to go back and wait again.
