This has to be the absolute WORST er to go to, I've been there in multiple separate occasions and each time was horrible. Not only are you possibly going to wait 2 hours just to see someone, my last visit I waited 3 hours just for a medical student to come into the room and misdiagnose me! They told me I had something I KNOW I didn't have just because they couldn't figure out what it was. Then MY original doctor told me otherwise. I would not recommend this place to anybody at all. Each time I've been here was horrible and I know a few people who've had the same experience. This place really needs to be shut down.
My father in law has gone here a few times for some issues. Every time they basically if it's him when he's trying to explain what is wrong with him. Just last night they held him overnight. He mentioned his pains, said he was hungry, etc. They did not feed him or offer food services ( he was there for 24 hours). He mentioned he needed something for his pain and they did not give him anything. All they did was "monitor" and had no discussion with him as far as what they were doing or anything in regards to the issue he went there for in the first place. Every time it has been like that. If they cannot give pain medication they should address it rather than saying "they will let the doctor know" and ignore him. I mean keep your patient informed! To top it off it was pretty dirty for a hospital. Terrible place. Even worse care. I'd never recommend this place to anyone who actually wishes to find results.
This hospital and it's staff are world class. My son had a plate and screws put into his wrist. The whole experience was amazing. I have been to hspitals all over the country and Oschners in Kenner takes the ribbon hands down. They even called the next day and checked up on him twice. Just wonderful people all around.Dr.French is an extraordinary surgeon and caretaker. Thank you Oschner for treating my family and I so well during a rough time. You all made a difference.

Dr Tauzin’s office staff is top notch -friendly, welcoming and attentive to both my children and me. The treats they gave and tricks they performed help get excellent hearing tests on both my 3 and 5-year old. Great office environment to complement a superb physician! Thank you
