I was greeted and asked if I needed help by all the staff... very pleasant atmosphere. I went in with several pics and the attendant was very good at asking me questions and listening to me as to what I wanted. But, oh I am afraid there is a but.... as she was cutting my hair it wasn't really what I wanted and I was somewhat upset but the owner came over and was very helpful as to make it work. I don't really blame the attendant, she was so kind and helpful but it was just not what I had in mind. I do like my haircut even if its not what I went in for and it will get some use to and I have to say she was right..... I have been recieving alot of compliments....so I guess it all worked out. yes, I do intend to go back and get a color done. I give it a 4 star rating only cause it was alittle disappointment but 4 is good!

I am not sure how to respond to the response below, but all I can say is that I am astounded and hurt that this is the response I received. Being accused of lying is offensive. I would have preferred an apology. First of all, I was never told that I had a ten minute appointment window. I came in with wet hair because I just showered so I told the stylist that I did not need a shampoo. She cut my hair wet because I did not dry it prior to coming in. She did not put my hair in a braid, I did. The mirrors may not have been high, but the seats were definitely low, so I could not see. I gurantee that I never told her I wanted “this much” taken off and she NEVER showed me whereabouts that would fall on my back. Why would I have made up the cancer bit? This is so offensive to me! I also never told her that I wanted it short for my wedding. I didn’t even mention the wedding until we were finished with the cut and I told her that I was disappointed because I was growing it out for my wedding. I am confused and hurt as to why I received this defensive backlash. I feel sorry that you were compelled accuse me of lying to cover up that what you said or how you responded may have been hurtful.

They have a highly trained staff of 8 who all specialize in wig consultations and fine and thinning hair. I was surprised of how beautiful the place was She has a full service hair salon and spa with massages, pedicures,manicures ,nails waxing and facials. My girlfriend and I have found our place.
We stopped by just passing through town. They worked my wife right in at the very last minute and she was delighted with her cut. Very personable staff, very clean facility, reasonably priced. First class!
Although I was growing my hair out for my wedding, I knew I needed to get the ends trimmed to keep it looking healthy. This salon had great reviews and was very close to my office, so I made an appointment. They got me in super quickly. I made some small talk with the woman (I think she is the owner), before she told me that my hair is thinning in the front and that I will have a receding hair line as I age. I asked her, “are you sure?” She responded sarcastically. “I have been doing this for X years; so no, I am not sure”. When I asked her if there is anything I can do about it, she did not tell me anything specifically, but told me that it’s like if your mom dies of cancer, that doesn’t necessarily mean you will too. This was a very sensitive topic for me (losing my mom at a young age). This may have been why, when I told her that I would just like a trim to keep my hair healthy, and she told me that she will need to cut “this much” off, about four inches, I did not give a whole lot of thought to it. The mirror was very high, so I could not see what she was doing until the end. My once long hair is now just past my shoulders. Those long waves I was envisioning for my wedding are now probably out of the question. I almost started to cry right then, but I did not. I also did not see a whole lot of body to the hair cut, so I thought that if I asked her for some more layering or a frame, it would make it look more to my liking. She quickly gave me a face frame. I was literally in and out of the place in about fifteen minutes. This is also probably because I found out they charge extra to blow dry your hair— more than the haircut itself costs. I understand why they may want to do this, but I ended up walking out of the salon pretty defeated with hair in a wet braid. I can honestly say that in my 29 years I’ve never been so disapointed by a haircut experience and this is the first time I’ve ever reviewed any service I’ve received.
