Rock star ownership. Of all the health clubs I've worked with over the years, I've never met an owner who cares more about his club. These guys aren't just hometown proud. "Born and raised" takes on an entirely different meaning to them, and it shows in how meticulously they handle their member concerns, club cleanliness and over all day to day management of the facility. Health clubs get an unfair appraisal of their worth based on size and amount of equipment. The ZOO in kenner is all about service. They've got everything you need, and tons of extras, yet they don't charge 50+ per month like a lot of full service clubs out there. If you care about fitness, and want real results in a friendly environment, this club is for you!
The Zoo Health Club has been more than accommodating to me. I love the facilities and the staff. Everyone was more than helpful and beyond kind. I had to cancel my membership only after a couple of months do to certain life circumstances. The staff was incredibly sweet and made me feel valued even though they were losing me as a customer. They showed they are all about their members' needs and well being over making money. I will definitely come back to The Zoo when things get better! Great place to work out, always see employees cleaning, great time to work out about early am/noon.. They also have a great child care facility, I can workout for 2 hours while my little one are having fun. Definitely overall a great gym.
Fantastic staff. Gyms are gyms. They all have equipment, they all get a little dirty... but this staff makes a difference. They do all they can to make the "gym" a great place to workout. They're friendly and helpful no matter the issue.
Great place with variety of machines ans equipment. A bit tight as far as floor space. Reasonable accommodations
