-Light fixtures without power (3 in seperate rooms and one security light)
Cambas Electric was the electrical contractor who did the work on my house during renovation prior to me purchasing the property. The work performed was substandard with many shortcuts and code violations requiring over $2,000 worth of repairs by a trusted electrician. I would not recommend Cambas Electric to perform any type of work on my property.
-Live wires bare in attic and coiled in insulation (major fire hazard)
-Arcfault breakers installed in circuit panel box but not actually connected
-Several junctions made without wirenuts, just hot wires twisted together and stuffed into box (Again, fire hazard)
-An entire room of outlets not wired to circuit panel.
Issues in my house alone:
-Garbage disposal not hard wired in, just plugged into an extension cord that was routed behind dishwasher
-Use of Low voltage junction boxes in non-low voltage situations, including on 240V stove outlet.
-Outlets installed with no wires run to them at all.
- Switches that were not connected (roughly 5 throughout the house)
